C. Mike Kido joined the Pacific Resource Partnership in 2006 to oversee its legislative strategies and initiatives. He also builds alliances for PRP with developers, business leaders, government officials, and community organizations to advocate for regulatory and governmental issues that benefit the state's construction industry.
Before joining PRP, Kido served as government affairs manager for the Estate of James Campbell (now the James Campbell Company), where he oversaw the company's legislative program and assisted with the development of the City of Kapolei. He has also held the position of vice president of public affairs at Hawaiian Cement and served as director of public affairs for Lone Star Hawaii, Inc.
Kido currently serves on the boards of directors of Pacific Health Ministry of Hawaii, Ahahui Siwila O Kapolei (Kapolei Hawaiian Civic Club) and the Awareness Foundation. He is also on the board of trustees of BUILD-Pac. Additionally, Kido is a member of Hale Kipa's 2007 Campaign Committee, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the Building Industry of Hawaii's Government Affairs Committee and the Honolulu City Council's Neighborhood Board Task Force.
Kido received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Research from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. He also completed graduate studies at the University of Hawaii's College of Business Administration.
