The PRP Executive Leadership Series is an intensive, 10-month leadership development program led by some of Hawaii’s top design and construction consultants and practitioners. After a 35-year career as a general contractor, Garrett Sullivan, president of Sullivan & Associates, Inc., (SAI) has dedicated himself to helping other contractors become more successful. SAI helps business owners to clarify and simplify to achieve their goals and vision, financial performance improvement and corporate culture change, which results in employees thinking and acting like owners.

A graduate of the University of Hawaii with a degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration from Chaminade University, he is currently a national governor for the Associated General Contractors of America and a past president of the General Contractors Association of Hawaii. He is also a past president and board member of the Hawaii Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association and was named the U.S. Small Business Administration's Person of the Year for the island of Oahu, Hawaii in 2010.

Mark has over 25 years of experience in marketing and management for the AEC industry. As principal and owner of Manageability LLC, he provides business management and operations consulting, executive and staff-level leadership training and development, and strategic marketing and business development services for firms focused on the built environment.

Dubbed a "serial entrepreneur" by Pacific Business News, Mark has owned and operated several successful start-ups in his career. He has also served as an author, instructor and facilitator on topics involving leadership, technology, entrepreneurship and marketing. Mark received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii and is a graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies' Senior Executives Institute, a program for which this leadership series was modeled after.

  • Complete the online application form by November 30, 2022.
  • Shortlisted candidates will participate in a brief conference call with the program selection committee.
  • All candidates will be notified of their application status no later than December 20, 2022.
  • Selected candidates must:
    • be employed by a construction company that is signatory to the Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters
    • manage other people as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.
    • have the full support of their firm leadership.
    • make a commitment to attend all 10 sessions.
